Contest INSTRUCTIONS and RULES.

To submit an entry a participant must include :
1. Your SCREEN NAME

2. TEAM NAME. If posting for someone else say so and post the correct info for them. If you don't do this I will delete the entry and you can try again. Its a pain in the rear end to look through a couple hundred names and figure out which team everyone is on.

3. If applicable, the number of tines that are longer than 1 inch (main beam counts). If you don't write the number of points on the paper or include the number of points in your post I am deleting it and you can try again. I don't count real well so don't leave it up to me.

4. Post the required pictures. CAPES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! The photo must show at least the entire front half of the deer or more showing the head attached to the body. Skull plates, mounts, or caped out deer will not be accepted! You have one of two ways to enter your deer. A picture of yourself with the deer with the points all showing or you may take a picture of the deer with SOMETHING (Paper plate/Piece of paper/Newspaper with the date readable) with the date, antler points if a buck, and team name/number.

5. Each team member may enter 1 doe and 1 buck. If you kill a buck with more points than the first one you enter you can enter one later in the year if it is worth more points and upgrade.

ADDITIONAL PHOTOS COULD BE REQUIRED.
If the first photo does not show all scoreable points, additional photos showing those points will be required. If 1 inch tine length is questionable go ahead and supply a photo with the original post with a measurement against the tine for verification. Nearly all issues are resolved with GOOD pictures.

Points are as follows : 5 points for a DEER and 1 additional point for each tine over 1"

**NEW** Any deer entered that has an inside spread equal to or greater than 12", or has at least one tine equal to or longer than 6", will get an extra point added to the total score.
Examples.... An 8 point with a 16" spread and an 8" tine, or a 4pt with 10" spread with a 6.25" tine, a quailman special spike with a 13" spread. An extra pic with measurements will be required
for the extra point.

5 Bonus points will be awarded to each team where each member kills and enters a doe.

**NEW** Most of all this contest is for fun, but this year each member of a winning team will receive a CALD sticker and an ALDEER sticker. If you see something that I need to look at shoot me a pm and I will look at it, but I am not going to be nit picky for you. If you are not going to hunt then don't sign up for the contest, this happens every year and it is the biggest complaint I get. People sign up every year and then never check in with their team again for the entire season. If you are having double shoulder replacement surgery the first day of October and a hip replaced on Nov 15th then there is a good chance you aren't going to hunt much. If you go to jail and they won't allow you to get on aldeer.com, you could complain to the warden, but you must check in (make a post) on your team thread to show you are accounted for before 10-14-19. If you are not accounted for, you are subject to replacement.

The sign up period is from the time of this post till 10-12-19 unless i need a few more extra folks to make a team, which is likely.

If a kid wants to play then sign them up with their own username, if they don't have a username then they don't play. I'm not going to place kids on a parents team. We are all here to compete so let's let them be a part of the fun.

Each team needs to designate one person to post the team name in the "Team Name Thread" I will create when I draw teams. Names are on a first come first serve basis. If a name for a team is not chosen by November 1st 2019, my 5 year old daughter will choose the name for you.

Due to overwhelming demand, which I agree, if you do not make a post within the first 2 weeks of being placed in a team, you may be replaced with an alternate. Alternate replacements are on a first come first served basis this year. Once I lock down the sign up thread, anyone who sends me a PM before November 1st asking to join a team, will be placed as an alternate. If there is a team that has a person that has not made a post on that team's thread by 11-1-2019, that person is subject to replacement.

The winning team from last year need not sign up, and again, congrats to them.
