I've had both and my 5075e with a loader is the most versatile tractor I've owend. The kubota had a smaller fuel tank and drank fuel if you ran at higher rpms compared to the deere. Also it didn't have the ass the deere does either when it comes to running a tree cutter or a heavy brown disc. I am a big deere fan as I own 3 JD tractors and there's a reason for that they are the best and my 5075e is the most used and borrowed tractor I have. Its not a top end bells and whistles tactor like the m sieries but its perfect for plots and work. Mine is a 2009 I bought new and has been a little work horse that I can't do with out. Also resale is a blow out with the deere if you ever wanted to upgrade down the road. Call one of the sun south dealers in South alabama and ask about a peanut rental 5075e you'll save some money buying a new tractor with a few hours on it through the program if they still do it.
