It may just be my location (NE Bama) but most of the maples and sweetgums are turning yellow or already losing leaves, I'm seeing lots of small acorns on the ground and have seen a few ripe muscadines. That happens when it's this dry. Our hay fields were grey yesterday. It's dry when grass turns grey.
