So where does it stop. It doesn't stop. That's the answer. The goal of the liberals is to take your guns. That's necessary for a socialist government. Only the wealthy in Europe have firearms. They are expensive and the red tape associated with ownership ensures the common citizen does not own a weapon.
Also just like in New York, DC and a couple of other cities where the license fees, permit fees, training fees and other requirements to "maybe" get one are so high that the common citizen usually says, "Nope."
Sorta like increasing or nitpicky hunting fees, permits, "privilege licenses" and unnecessary regulations. At some point the average guy says "enough" and quits, or becomes an outlaw.
