Whether we need 100 round drum magazines or not has nothing to do with anything. What does matter is that the very rights that this country was founded on no longer look anything like it was spelled out to be. Liberal interpretation of the constitution and the bill of rights has played a huge part in leading us to where we are now as a country and as a society.
60 years ago mass shootings were virtually unheard of. Rape and murder stats were way lower than today. Kids for the most part were not taught that gay is ok. Most kids could recite the 23rd Psalm, the Lords Prayer, and knew the Golden rule. Most men worked to EARN a living. Few people divorced.
Today people think that the guns themselves are evil. We don't even blink an eye when the evening news tells about all of the rapes and murders. Many kids don't have a clue what John 3:16 says. Boy and girl scouts have gay troop leaders. About half the country is dependent on a handout from Uncle Sam. And the divorce rate is ridiculous.
What has changed?
I could go on forever but we have had leadership with no morals for to long. Bill Clinton, almost Hillary, both had the idea that anything is ok if it benefits them. Obama majored in Constitutional Law. Coincidence?
It's not just our politicians. We are to blame for letting it happen on the home front too.
