And then how a lot of work has gone into the successful turkey numbers we enjoy today!
The really cool part to me was seeing all the calls, there were A LOT of calls from beginning to modern day. Lots of Lynch stuff, etc.
There were also a ton of decorative calls that have one prizes over the years at the NWTF Convention. There were some straight-up works of art that make sweet turkey music in there.
And what turkey hunting museum would be complete without a section devoted to Col. Tom Kelley. There was a nice exhibit about him and his life as a forester and then author, and his turkey hunting.
If you ever get the chance to go, it's worth it. free for NWTF members, and $5 otherwise. There is also a Palmetto Shooting Club (NWTF) close by to make a day out of it.
