I work with a lot of foreigners and they are still amazed at how much Americans work. There’s actually proof that you become less productive once you cross the 35 hour threshold in a work week. We (Americans) will just work mindlessly just to work where overseas they have to have a very specific purpose for every job paid for. Personally I feel that some weeks I can work 60 hours and be just as productive on hour 60 if not more than I was on hour 1. Some weeks I feel like every hour over 40 is a week long.
