You are spot on there fellas. That was august of 1992. When the fever broke I escaped the hospital and made my way back overseas AWOL and was known as JohnnyLoco every since. The Army MP’s found me and brought me to a medivac aircraft with the props turning and back to the states. 107 degree fever for five days on refrigeration blankets and cold transfusions in ICU until I met Jesus and it ceased instantly. 107°or higher can cause brain damage......... Ya reckon ? LOL !!!!
