I have been in one club for four years, and was a turkey only member of another for one year ever since I moved back here five years ago, Neither I nor anyone of the few that hunted turkeys killed very many at either property. count them on the fingers on one hand. Both were fair size properties (3000 ac. plus each) I am not a beginner turkey hunter by any stretch and can usually do pretty good, at least where I used to hunt in Central Alabama, Missouri, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, but those opportunities are long gone. I am looking for a place in the southern quarter of the state, meaning Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, Escambia, Conecuh, Monroe, Clarke, etc. If it has a place to stay that would be icing on the cake. I am not retired and would not be there every day of the season. I do not hunt on Sundays, I go to church (I may skip a Sunday if the weather is good and they are gobbling.lol.) I am looking for a turkey only membership, just stopped caring about the deer hunting like I used to. I was amazed when my Dad just gave it up after I got older, but now I understand.
