We went to a small party last Saturday in Purvis, MS in the middle of nowhere...Woods all around the house.. We were there from 4:00 till about 7:30 and I never got bit the first time...
I told the owner I couldn't believe not the first bite and she showed me 2 tubes hanging on 2 different trees about 150 feet apart...
It's called the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator.. You can get them at Tractor Supply for $20 for 2. They are suppose to last for 90 days...
I picked up a box Monday and they are hanging up now... According to the directions 1 tube is suppose to cover 1 acre and is suppose to kill 95% of them suckers in the first 2 weeks...
This might be another option...
THEY WORK! I've had my yard sprayed for 3 years. I thought I would try this this spring and they are amazing. I have less mosquitos than when it was getting sprayed! I put out 4 just to be safe, but I have a large yard. They also last for a lot longer, I think 90 days.
