Why not try and plant some grain sorghum instead? Easier to grow, more tolerant of weeds, and it will benefit wildlife still. Once you get that under your belt then you can move on to a big boy crop like corn. If youre talking about milo, id pass on that and do the corn. I grew milo four years and the biggest result I saw was a flock of blackbirds that moved in and scared everything every time they took off. Very seldom saw a deer or turkey touch it.
