I didn't have the rear locked until it was too late. The right side tires weren't touching the bottom of the rut at all, they were literally just spinning in water, which is why they're so cleaned out (and why the truck isnt muddier than it is.) The truck was sitting on the axles front and rear so once it came to a stop, that was that.

Having a true mud tire might've helped, but it's a failed driver that spends 95% of the time on pavement, so it has ATs, not MTs.
