Had a client years ago that had hunted hogs in GA, FL, and TN. Had killed 350+ pound hogs in each of the states. I told him to not get his hopes up here in Bama. Anyway, he shot a boar early that afternoon and called me to come get him and his monster hog. I got there and was shocked. He had shot what I estimated to be a 135 lb. hog. After weighting it I was 3 lbs short. He claimed it was bigger than any of the ones he had killed in his previous hunts. He was not happy with his previous outfitters. I did ask if they had put any of his hogs on the scales. He said they hadn't. They just guessed at the weight. Many of my clients are shocked at my "guesses" until the hog is put on the scales.
