If you want to step outside the marriage then leave the marriage first. It ain’t worth all the trouble of the lies and running around covering your tracks. If what is in the marriage is worth keeping them it’s worth keeping your vows. Otherwise, neither are worth keeping and it’s time to kick the spouse to the curb and go the way your heart tells you to. You’re still an adulterer just it’s all out in the open and you don’t have to be a liar also.
