Heard this deer rubbing trees in the pines. I was sitting in a ladder stand watching the road and a small clearcut to my right. He walked out and I put the crosshairs on him, click! Bullet didn't fire. He and I had a stare down I bolted another shell and the 7mag blew thru his shoulder. DRT. Destroyed the opposite shoulder. I wanted one more deer for the freezer and he complied.
