Unless it's in new shape, I'd be surprised to see one bring that much. I had one I bought around 86 and sold for $400. It jammed terribly. even after a trip to a gunsmith twice. Mine was blue, not stainless. They didn't make a stainless in 1977. Chrome plated or blue is all so yours must have been a newer model. Also, part of the value is that it's a serial number in the 7's.
