I got straight up lost in Tuskegee NF once. Walked in to a new area, hunted till dark. Started walking out and got turned around. About 10 minutes into trying to walk and find the trail I walked in on my headlamp went out. So I'm lost in the dark. I found the north star and started heading north knowing I would hit a road eventually. I did after about 5 miles in the dark with my summit and bow in hand. I'm glad I didn't kill a deer that night.

I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore I believe in work, hard work. -George Petrie (1945)
