Reasonable prices and smokeless don’t belong in the same sentence. Before Savage got out of the Smokeless muzzle loader business it was about the same price. They are not making them anymore so this really drives up the cost. I have a Savage Stainless with a laminate stock that shoots smokeless. I doubt very seriously you could buy the same gun used for less than 1500.00 today. To my knowledge the only way you can shoot smokeless powder with out a Savage is to have it custom built.
