I don't get to watch TV much and I'm not much up on popular culture in particular, but the other day while out of town on business I had a few minutes to watch some TV in the hotel room. This show was on Discovery (?) and boats and crews were competing with each other to see who could catch the most Tuna worth the most money. Of course there was all the fake "drama" of a reality TV show, but the dun dun dun daaaaa moment was always where they bring the fish in to some kind of fish appraiser dude and he tells them what he will pay them per pound for each fish. I found it startling that he was paying up to $25 a pound for a "dressed" fish. All I can say is that Mrs. Irish and I must be eating some pretty cheap tuna.
