Come on 87! You know yotes don't climb trees. Are you saying a bobcat did that? Housecat? Sounds more like a black painter! Never saw what drug it up the tree. I assume whatever it was jumped out as the deer came crashing down. I don't believe black bears take their kills up trees and believe painters hide/burry their kills. To this day not sure what it was. Was on the pea river in Elba, Al. Likely a Yahoo. Nothing else around here big enough to drag a deer up in a tree.
