The left will stop at nothing to get their way. And the right will capitulate to their demands.
Unfortunately, in most cases, I think you're correct. [A majority of] the Rep's will pay lip service to [insert Conservative value here], but when push comes to shove, they won't actually stand up for it. A bulk of politicians, regardless of the R or D after their name, are just 2 sides of the same coin. It's frustrating, infuriating and demoralizing to know that very few of the people claiming to represent you actually care about anything other than their own self-preservation.
It would be exciting to be on the left. Aside from all the bad stuff they represent. You would be able to know with certainty that all the things you want politically will definitely happen, sooner or later.
