Bring your own gear and go to Russell Pier by Pier park. They have a bait and tackle shop there. I went there this summer. The wife dropped me off while shopping .Cost $7.00 to fish plus what ever bait you buy. I was skeptical about it but had a blast catching Pompano on the shallow end of the pier and mackerel and other fish at night at the middle of the pier. The water is a little muddy right now, but they are catching a few kings, spanish, and mangrove snapper. If the water clears up, the kings should show up in good numbers. I'm waiting on the sailfish. Hopefully only a few more weeks. They are doing pretty well on the slot reds in the shallow water.
