Seems like a good way to have a hog-killing spot: sink a creosote pole into the ground in concrete within range of your stand. It is a helpful tool if you are trying to keep them coming around an certain area but it’s not something that I would hunt over with out having a food source close by. I have put cameras on wallows and rubs and from my experience they aren’t used on a very consistent basis. It seems to me that they are used more during the summer when ticks and flies are so bad but still not really consistent
