I get asked about this often. So, let me see if I can give a reasonable answer to this question.

First, it will not eradicate hogs. Not all landowners will use it. Some people still wants hogs around to hunt. Therefore, poison or whatever they come up with will not be the magic silver bullet.

Let me give a list of reason in addition to the desire to hunt hogs that will prevent it from killing them all.

It will be expensive.
It will not be 100% effective. I understand that some pigs expel the poisoned bait before it can kill them.
Not all pigs will eat a lethal dose.
It will come with restrictions, requirements, and lots of regulations.
People will probably have to be certified to administer the poison.
And I am sure there are many more.

If it is legalized, I will do what I have to do to add it to my bag of tricks to kill hogs. And yes, I will charge for these services.

Did I mention it was going to be expensive? LOL
