A few years ago I had a Poulan weed eater I bought new that would never run more than 2 hours of use before it needed a carb adjustment and sometimes it just wouldn't start for no apparent reason and then when it finally did start it would run fine as if it was just screwing with me for fun. So after about a year (and warranty work) and maybe 20 hours use at most it gave me another treatment of won't start. It was 125 degrees that day. I done had enough. Went to my shop and got the three pound hammer. Lit into that POS like it was a 5 foot rattlesnake with two fuggin' heads.

My 'repair' worked exactly as planned. That machine and NO MACHINE with Poulan on the name tag has EVER given me a bit of a problem since. One of my best decisions.
