I thought there was always water in the marsh. Aint that why it's called a marsh? Most of the time there is. We have been in a dry spell and the marshes dried up. The water level in the marshes around here fluctuate with the mermentau River stage. If the river is low the marshes are dry, if she is up, water in the marsh. Even our swamps will dry up during a long dry spell.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
