SD is important if SD is important to ya. I like a flatbased rapid expanding bullet that doesn’t fragment and blows a hole out the other side.

My 30-30 with 150gr Powernax drops deer better than my 6.5 or 7mm-08 did at my particular ranges. The negative effect of SD, bullet constuction, and animal selection is why (I) feel bullet selection is very important in the 6mm-7mm ranges.

All of my go-to hunting calibers are .30 cal or Forty-Four with Keith style cast bullets or Hornady flat nosed

SD is of no consequence to my hunting style.
