Depending on bullet, 150-165 is where you see 30/30 loads separate in performance vs bullet type. Any gun is at least a 250 yard gun.  Haven't you been reading this thread? The 150 gr. Powermax is the only 30-30 load that will kill deer!!! If you read the thread you definitely know that didn’t come from me, I only claim the 150gr Powermax is the best at the job.
