There are few places that will employ you if you can't pass a drug test. That’s what those idiots don’t realize. You can grow it and smoke it but you still cannot have it in your system on the job. In the states where medical or recreational marijuana is legal, many job applicants are no longer being tested for pot. Unlike most drugs,THC is fat soluble, so it can remain in your body for weeks after use. An employer has to decide if they want to exclude good workers who come to work clear-headed but smoke evenings and weekends. https://www.shrm.org/resourcesandto...nt-law/pages/less-marijuana-testing.aspx It's true certain employers won't require drug testing but, most places worth working to support a family will continue testing. Any job where a security clearance is required will also continue to drug test since federal law prohibits use. There's also a difference in medical and personal use.
