It has seemed to me since the identification of prions being concentrated in the brain/spinal cord area that the most likely mode of transportation of the prions was hunters killing infected deer, hauling the heads/racks back and the brain/spinal cord matter being cut into at some point. The infected bone chips and other matter can't be 100% removed IMHO and that could lead to transmission of prions. Seems more likely than feeding a bunch of non-infected deer and them passing the disease that isn't there in the first place. currently that is only a theory as there has not been any incidences of CWD ACTUALLY being transmitted in that manner.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
