Guys, I have never hunted so hard and had so little to show for it in my life. I hunted at least 3 days a week every week of the season except one. This has just been a horrible season for me. I never dreamed I would have all 3 of my spots clear cut at the same time. I was just starting to get a few birds back on my Russell Co. place but just couldn't catch a break. And to make things even worse I found out today my Kentucky trip this week has gotten cancelled. Sorry I couldn't help any more than I did, but I hunted hard and enjoyed every mile I walked and every sunrise I watched. I did get lucky and picked up another spot yesterday that actually has trees on it so next year, God willing, will be better. I hope you guys going out of state to finish the season have good trips and get on some birds.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.
