I have moved from small green fields to pasture, in the evenings. And have killed several turkeys that way. But they rarely gobble and it's not nearly as much fun. That's why I've never been much on afternoons. I've always been a hunt them off the roost kind of hunter. Trying to expand my horizons LOL. He never responded to my setup this evening but I did make him change trees walking out. If he gobbles I will try to hunt him. If not I'll ease out and try again
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
