thanks on the scope; i have admired that model scope many times in academy. i meant the mount itself, not the rings. skinner, maybe, or XS? i really want to keep my 1894 .44 mag dressed fire sights only, but my 66-year-old eyes are having a hard, hard time. i'd be good to 50-60 yards, no more. ghost ring is a no go ... Oh sorry. Yes the mount is the xs lever rail. They make it in several different variations but this one is the full rail. I love shooting irons, but the scope does help in low light like morning or evenings when something steps out right on the edge of the field at 100yds.
