Lots of great info in this thread!
All I can add is this - when calling, less is more.
Most beginning hunters run the turkey off by calling too much and too loud. Don't scare the turkey off and you will have a good chance to kill him.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
