Then we hunt VERY close if you hunt in Hell’s Creek. I’ll be at Hell’s Creek in the morning before court. Go get em. I called one in this morning for a friend just down the road and my stupid self sabotaged the kill. I spooked the bird right before he was about to die. The wind and terrain had my sense of where he was all jacked up I guess and I made a move at a very bad time when I thought the bird was farther than he actually was. As has been learned over and over again in the turkey woods, when in doubt, stay your butt there. I'll be on a different property in the morning in Lamar County but still not too far. .
