For what it's worth, I have sent back 2 of the cheapest vortex scopes made at the time ( they were the original Crossfire models... The Crossfire II is much better ), 2 Leupold Vari-X 3's, 1 Millet DMS and 1 Bushnell 4200 Elite. All required repair or replacement.

I have never been a Leupold fan, due to more of a lack of features that are available at the same price point from other makers. All Leupolds I have ever messed with were set and never touched again unless it was to re-sight after mounting on another gun. The two I sent back, per Leupold required the erector system to be rebuilt. The Millett and Bushy did as well. The two Vortex models couldn't be fixed and were replaced. The Millett was actually replaced too...I guess it was more cost effective than rebuilding it

There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... Those who have been F#CKED by PTG and those who will be!
