1acre of corn will do fine but when it matures the deer, coons, etc. will take it out quicker than you
can even imagine if you have many deer. I planted a 4 acre corn field last year for the first time and it far exceeded my expectations. It did exceptionally well and every stalk had 3-6 ears. I was thinking the corn would last well into the season. It didn't. The deer flocked to it like a swarm of locusts. It was gone in 2-3weeks. Planted in early April and it was gone by 1st of August. In the future, I won't plant less than 10-15 acres
