The fatherless thing plays into it all also. Most of these progressive ideals point to Europe as a liberal utopia. But look at Europe. The euro is unstable, the uk just exited the eu, and the refugees are dividing the politics. Ever since they grouped together to prevent wars, it has instead just prolonged and festered the inevitable. My thinking is, would you rather have multiple small wars or one massive war.
