Looks like I am just going to find me another 7mag and wildcat it down to shoot the .25 round.
If i neck the 7mag case down i "think" i will be able to pick up a little more fps by being able to use more powder over the 257wby.
Anybody know anyone who has gone this route and has a recipe?
The .257 Wby uses the same case as a 7mm Wby. You would have to move up to a 257/.300 weatherby to beat the .257 Wby. Just go ahead and use a .378 Weatherby case and really produce an overbore useless cartridge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.22_Eargesplitten_Loudenboomer
