Schools closing left and right Sheesh. I understand taking precautions, but im starting to think we are raising a generation of weenies. I usually say the same thing but 2014 was terrible in Birmingham. This model is shaping up similarly. You can’t take any chances with even minimal snow events in extreme cold. Snowing 8” in 35 degree temps is more manageable than snowing .5” in 25 degree temps. Looking at the radar there’s some moisture creeping up out of the gulf I am not certain they expected, so there could be more precip than what they’re predicting.
