My old skeleton stock 308 - only pic I have now. And it has never been a shooter, 1 inch on it's best day, 1 1/2 normal day - but has killed a truck load of deer! I had that gun in 300 Win Mag., thing kicked worse than any gun I've ever owned. Sold that sucker. Yea, those zytel stocks are famous for being able to transfer most of the recoil to the shooters shoulder! I have toyed with the idea of dropping it in a hogue overmold or boyds stock of some sort.
