I HATE the Iron Bowl.
I think it means more to AU folks than Ala.
If AU wins, they’ll storm the field, tear down the goal posts, all that crap. But Bama is just expected to win.
Seems to me, at least lately, that AU always has something to win and Tide just has something to lose.
If Auburn and Alabama never played again, that would be okay with me.
Auburn folk fired up because we’ve lost like 15 linebackers and they think they got a chance. Depends on which side you a looking at it. They are actually in the same position with a win or a loss, granted bama would have an outside shot of still making the playoffs with a loss. It turns my stomach in knots every year regardless of the situation, and thats what makes it great imo
