I spoke with a man on facebook that tracks the other that he is definitely in the business. His charges are $100-$150 just to come out and $150 if he locates and recovers the deer. I understand covering the gas and time and that it takes a ton of patience and time to train the dogs but $300 per track is a little much in my opinion. Time = $$$ I would pay it. I would too. In fact, I wouldn't pull the trigger on a deer if I wasn't willing to put some serious effort, time, and money into finding it.
