My great great grandfather founded the town I’m from but I already knew that. But as far as ancestry that is blood I have no idea because I’m adopted. Most of the folks on my mom and dad’s side fought in the civil war for GA, AL, and SC. I know someone on my dad’s side that was from SC murdered some guy in an argument and moved to AL to get away from the law and that’s how his side ended up here. Other than that I don’t know too much. Like I said, I’m adopted so it won’t help me much. It will actually help you the most... if you want to know where you actually came from. Yeah it would. My birth mom tried to contact me on facebook but to be honest, my parents are the ones who raised me and I want nothing to do with the biological folks. I looked on her profile after she contacted me and found out all I needed to know and didn’t respond to her. Nothing good would come out of it. I understand.
