The trick with seed that small is getting it spread that sparse. You could try and mix with fertilizer. Buy a Solo hand seeder for your small seed you you can fine tune it to spread as sparse as you would like. It does good with most seed but really shines with your smaller seeds like clover, chicory, rape and turnips. I've had mine for 7 or 8 years. It's a great little seeder and very durable.
