I like my m77/357. Need to find the right ammo for it. They had one m77/44 left at Field and Stream last time I was in there. I handload 180 grain hornady xtp's for a 357 carbine and they do very well on deer. My buddies son used them last year and killed several. I imagine hornady makes ammo with that bullet that would perform well. Jason
