I hate to defend the shucks ass that messed with your camera, but hell it was PUBLIC land. In my time hunting WMA's and national forest I have come across many blinds, cameras, and tree stands. I have never messed with any, but I have every right to. Absolutely nothing you leave behind on public land is yours. Why would you expect otherwise? I don't think of it this way, but in a lot of ways, public land hunting is a big competition....many people fighting for the same deer. Don't get pissed or feel screwed over because other people are competing in the same game you choose to play.
