checked my cams yesterday and out of 105 pics ( not bad for public land I dnt think ) I got one little buck and the rest were does minus a few blanks. decided to move the cameras because i need more buck pics and found a white oak that was beat to death under its canopy. 7 piles of dropping and tracks everywhere. the kind of tree you want during bow season but I dnt think I've ever found one this early in the year
I thought maybe coons and squirrels are knocking them down but idk. I put a camera there and put a camera on a tree that was just like this in Oct last year. it had 3 acorns on the ground that I found. is this normal in your experience or has the cool hot cool summer screwed up some oaks... or maybe it's the eclipse to blame
