Must be really ugly right now if AU-UA is compared to Sunday School.
Shock and aw. Getting the most out of a hot story. Remember Houston Nutt was at fault? That was the first reports until proven otherwise. No matter what comes out, I'll take it cautiously. Worse than UA and AU? Wouldn't be hard to do in my opinion. USUALLY, UA-AU are boosters and fans and not the coaches and school. This is the HC and representative of school. Just my opinion. Most schools, AU and Alabama included, have a coach on staff who facilitates and coordinates "extra benefits". Lance Thompson was about as blatant as they come. Sure, the money comes from boosters but there is usually an assistant that is in the know. Remember Eric Ramsey? The smart coaches, and it is generally the ones higher up, insulate themselves from the shady goings on. "Plausible deniability" is the key term. Of course that is why there is a charge of Lack of Institutional Control. To exclude the plausible deniability defense.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
