Technically I first met my wife when we were in high school. But at that time I was 18 and she was only 14 so it was not a romantic encounter. LOL! At that time she was the tomboy little sister of one of my best friends. Long story short I went away to college and when I came back she had gone from tomboy to a very beautiful young lady. By then I was 22 and she was 18. I still remember the first day I saw her again. That was 28 years ago. Not just very pretty but still to this day one of the sweetest human beings I have ever encountered.
